A student with a disability may be found not eligible for special education.  However this child might be eligible for a Section 504 accommodation plan under the Americans with Disabilities Act.  This is a general education responsibility; therefore this is a separate referral and consideration process and is not directly linked to special education.  Please contact the  building 504 coordinator for information regarding Section 504.
